Some work in progress pages from Wandering Vagrants vol.1. Generally, I work in three steps. Blueline to map out the page. Once the page is setup, I then go in with pencil to tighten things up. And last is the inking. More to come.

Sleepless night. Haven't been able to sleep much this year. Working on a few projects since I can't sleep. Wandering Vagrants is coming out quite nicely. Doing a bit of everything at this point. Penciling, inking, and coloring remaining pages. Feels like I'm chasing my tail. Here are a couple pages from the book.

 

I will be at this years Annapolis Comic Con in artist alley at the XanPress table. The show is Saturday June 29th, 2013. The time 10am -6pm. Tickets are $10. You can check out the site for more details.

Gold Digger

I drew some fan art for Fred Perry’s Gold Digger series that just reached its 200th issue last Wednesday. I’m a big fan of Fred’s work, he’s definitely been one of my motivations over the years. He’s actually the only reason I go to the comic book store every month.
Fred’s posted his entire series online for everyone to read. So, you can checkout his first 199 issues for free! Give it a read and pickup of issue 200th.

MAYHEM!!!

Here are the covers to my first comic book series MAYHEM. I've worked on MAYHEM for several years. I came up with the concept back in college around 97-98. The book was called Mischief and Mayhem. It was a fun adventures comedy comic based off a couple friends. Over the years the characters have transformed into something entirely new. I dropped my first book in 2004 called Mischief and Mayhem#0. In 2007, I released my first fullcolor series entitled MAYHEM. I have collected the first story arc "Return from the grave" which you could purchase in my store =).

 

MAYHEM #1A. This was the first cover I did for MAYHEM. I wanted the first book to have a wraparound cover to show off some of the cast. I like wraparounds.

MAYHEM #1B cover. When I switched printers I did a new print run and decided to do a new cover. I think this cover reflected Kalista journey a bit better...MAYHEM!

MAYHEM #2 cover. This cover shows off my bounty hunters for hire, the blood thirsty Mendoza Brothers. I love these guys.

MAYHEM#3 cover. This was one of my favorite covers. I really like how everything came out.

 

MAYHEM#4 UNUSED cover. This cover wasn't used because I made changes to the story, so the three assassins didn't appear. I still like the cover though.

 

MAYHEM GN#1 cover. This was the cover for MAYHEM volume collection.

Here's a page from Wandering Vagrants vol.1. Enzo has a run in with house keeping and I don't think she's there to make the bed. More pages to come.

Slice and Dice

I'm a huge TMNT fan. Drew this some time ago. I never got a chance to ink the drawing, because it got destroyed. I would love to draw a TMNT comic. Maybe one day.

Baltimore Comic-con here I come!

Looks like I'll be at this year's Baltimore Comic-con! The best show in town! I always have a great time at Baltimore con. I'll be premiering my graphic novel Wandering Vagrants vol.1 at the show. The book is very close to being done. I can see the finish line in the distance(I see you!). Its been a real blast putting this book together. I'm looking forward to showing it off.

 A drawing of Raphael I did sometime ago. This is very popular illustration whenever I do conventions. People love the TMNT. Raph was my favorite Turtle.
